Pinflow and the tools you’ve heard of
agentation and react-grab are good at what they do: pointing a developer’s agent at the developer’s own running app. Pinflow is for the reviewer who isn’t a developer and isn’t at your desk. Here is each difference in the other project’s own words, with a link to where it was said.
-
One tag, on any stack
“We are not adding a standalone script bundle to core.”
agentation’s maintainer, closing the script-tag request. Its README lists React 18+ as a requirement. agentation #187 · README Pinflow is one script tag, so it runs on plain HTML, React, Vue, WordPress, or whatever Lovable exported.
-
A reviewer on a phone
“Desktop browser (mobile not supported)”
agentation’s README, under requirements. README Press and hold to pin. Mobile Safari and Chrome for Android are supported, the panel’s buttons grow to 44 px under a finger, and the note field is sized so iOS doesn’t zoom in.
-
Feedback from someone who isn’t you
“Our PM wants to be able to add annotations and send them our way.”
An agentation user, in an open request. On a multi-user pull request the maintainer wrote that “multi-user sync isn’t on the roadmap for now.” agentation #162 · #116 Send the link. Your reviewer exports a file to you, or your own backend collects notes through the public sync protocol.
-
Nothing that phones home
“The browser package sends an anonymous {source=browser, v, t} version ping on init”
A security review filed against react-grab, still open. The same review notes the ping can be switched off with telemetry: false. react-grab #632 After the script loads, Pinflow sends no feedback or telemetry anywhere by default. Notes stay in the reviewer’s browser until they export.

A permissive licence
“PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0”
